Malas

Our malas are handcrafted from high-quality, natural, untreated gemstone beads, with select designs incorporating freshwater pearls, Sandalwood beads, or Rudraksha seed beads. Accented with Karen Hill Tribe Silver, sterling silver, or 14K gold-filled beads, each mala is hand-knotted using traditional techniques to ensure durability and enhance mindfulness during meditation.

Traditionally used in Buddhism and Hinduism for mantra and prayer counting, malas have evolved into powerful tools for mindfulness, helping to maintain focus and grounding during meditation. Worn as a necklace, they also serve as a daily reminder of intention and inner peace.

Each mala features 108 counting beads and a guru bead, which serves as a focal point and symbolizes completion. Some designs include marker beads to aid with mantra repetition, breath control, and intention setting. Finished with a handmade Japanese silk tassel or a simple bead-only style, select designs incorporate a gemstone or silver or gold-plated pendant for a modern touch.
