Collection: Malas

Our malas are handcrafted in Sydney, Australia from high quality natural gemstone beads, undyed and untreated, with select designs incorporating freshwater pearls, sandalwood beads, or rudraksha seeds. Each piece is accented with Karen Hill Tribe Silver, sterling silver, or 14K gold filled findings, and hand-knotted using traditional techniques for enhanced strength, durability, and ease of use in meditation.

Rooted in Buddhism and Hinduism, malas have long been used for mantra and prayer counting. Today, they are also cherished as meaningful tools for focus and grounding, often worn as a necklace as a quiet reminder of intention and inner peace throughout the day.

Each mala features 108 counting beads and a guru bead, which marks completion and serves as a focal point. Some designs also include marker beads to support mantra repetition, breath awareness, and intention setting.

Made to order, each piece offers a choice of finish, including a handmade Japanese silk tassel or a simple bead-only style. Select designs may also feature a gemstone or silver or gold plated pendant, adding a subtle modern touch.

Available in 8mm beads, our malas offer a comfortable feel that supports meditation practice and are suitable for everyday wear.
