Why Kindness Matters to Us

I was born in Vietnam and spent my early childhood in a small rural village near the coast, where life was simple. Growing up, I learned the importance of kindness, sharing, and looking after one another from my family and the people around me.

Despite the challenges our village sometimes faced, people always came together, shared what they had, and supported one another. My grandmother also taught me the value of kindness and compassion, lessons that have stayed with me throughout my life.

Now, with my children born and raised in Australia, I hope to pass these values on to them through Sharing Kindness. I want to teach them gratitude, compassion, and the importance of caring for others.

While one small act of kindness may not change someone's circumstances, it can bring a little comfort, a moment of joy, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Continuing the Journey

Our family's first outreach was a special memory that has stayed with us. We hope to continue this tradition whenever we return to Vietnam, sharing kindness with people in need.
